Catfish. I've always had good luck with Chicken Livers, but they don't stay on the line very well. I'm getting ready to take my daughter and her friend fishing for catfish. Someone told me about another kind of liver that stays on the line better, but I cannot remember what it was.

I usualy use a #10 treble hook for chicken liver. Find the grisle in the liver and run as many of the hooks through it as possible. Its my opinion that catfish like chicken liver by far the best.

Works wonders for holding livers. Kinda like a little catfish chum bag with a hook in it.

Around these parts I have had no luck at all with chicken livers. The only thing that I have any success with is nightcrawlers.
