My last post on this got deleted when they were running 'maintenance.' We'll try it again. I'm planning a fishing trip with my grandfather next May, probably the middle to late part, and I need some help narrowing my choices. What are the best lake(s) for catching good numbers of nice sized walleye with the chance to catch a couple in the 6-10 pound range? We're not looking for a lake that offers a lot other than quality fishing. Thanks.

    depends on how far "north".

i wrote you a book before it got deleted [V]

BUT, lake of the woods will be your best bet...if you are willing to make the drive. mille lacs will also produce walleyes.

once you get your "area" of where you are thinking, post on here, and maybe i can throw out some lakes that will be in your "area"
