Any of yall eat the fish from there? we had a guy bring some catfish to work one day and we fried them and they tasted kinda funny. And i have heard quite a few people say this. At least i am pretty sure it was Fork that they were talking about. maybe i am just used to eating catfish from sulfur river.

...What kind of catfish? If it was a yellow or "mud cat" THAT's why it probably tasted funny, their trash fish. Channel, blues are usually fine from any waters...except maybe REALLY muddy waters..but if your talkin about Lake Fork here...it's not considered a muddy lake...[;)]

I have never ate a bad fish from Lake Fork. Parents live on West fork of lake. Fish there often.
