First bass trip of the year

Well, I got to go to my "secret" pond that I fish for largemouth all the time. It's a small, private pond that in the past would produce a full stringer of 2-4lb bass with a few 12-13" perch.
Those days are over, largely due to overpopulation by the bass. So, I've been taking it upon myself to try and help manage the population. I was there for about 3 hours and ended up catching about 20-25 bass, most between 13"-16". Just perfect for eating. Took 8 home, four for my family and 4 for my girlfriend's family. In fact, they're ready right now. (we need an eating smilie right here)
My stringer I brought home
The first bass of the year 13 3/4"
The area most of the fish came from
Happiness - a ragged thumb from lipping bass [:D]
