    6 large green peppers
1 lb ground venison (or beef)
    2 tablespoons chopped onion
    1 cup cooked rice
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (3 ounces)

Cut thin slice from stem end of pepper, remove seeds and membranes.
Rinse peppers, cook 5 minutes in enough boiling water to cover, drain.
Brown ground beef and onion, drain.
Stir in rice, salt, garlic, 1 cup tomato sauce; heat through.
Stuff peppers with mix, place in baking dish.
    Pour remaining sauce over peppers.
Cover dish and bake in 350 oven for 45 minutes.
    Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer.
    Sprinkle with cheese, serve.

    well, here's what i do... and it's yummy! [:)]

Make u some zatarain's dirty rice ... start with some onions in the hamburger meat... and replace the water with broth, of corse.
Then once it's all done, add some tomato sauce to the rice mixture... stuff them pepers with this stuff and top with canned, stewed tomatoes... make sure there is plenty of liquid in ur cassarole dish, that way they get nice and soft... yum. cook at 350 for an hour and there ya go.
