For the second year in a row, someone drowned in the general area of my favorite fishing hole. It is near a dam and the currents are quite dangerous. Both of these poor souls ignored the warning signs and waded out and were carried away.
I feel sorry for their families.....It is that same old thing, if you do not know the waters you are fishing don't be stupid. I have fished near there for almost 25 years and know every rock pile, sand bar and hole. I still do not venture far from the shore, just not a smart move....
