Went on the annual "You will go where I have planned to go and like it" camping/fishing as an afterthought trip with my family. Went to Beaver lake about 16 mi SW of Mellen WI.
All in all it was a good trip. I was disappointed that I didn't catch any trout but I did catch a bunch of small smallies and some good sized largemouth bass, 16 in. I have a picture of the 14 incher I caught. he was close enough to camp that I could hold him long enough to get his picture without killing him. The big one I would have had to paddle in from the middle of the lake.

Well the titles didn't come in for me. The first one was of a small largemouth? that I caught about a hundred of. The second is of the smaller 'big' bass that I caught. He is 14 in. long...but not real heavy.
