i caught a few dozen bluegill out of the local ponds, most medium to large in the last 15 days on red worms and night crawlers.. happy me i still got some morals in the freezer and cresses growin. yum yum. pan fried corn bread and its very good..
6 to 8 gill fillets
1/2 cup corn meal
1/8 cup self riseing flour
1 teaspone curry pouder
1/2 teaspoon peprika
1/2 teaspoon fesh ground black pepper corns
1/2 teaspone fine parsley flakes
mix and put in a bag, then place fillets in the bag and shake well.
heat pan to medium high, place fish in the frier in one quater to a half inch of oil
wait one minute
lower heat to medium and fry turn once or twice until done..
put on a paper towel so the oil can be caught on it, instead of making your seving plate greasy..
