Real Danger or Not

You are fly fishing wearing chest waders and a belt. You trip and fall in 4 feet off water. Don't laugh if this has never happened to you but is their a danger you cannot regain you feet because your waders retain air and lift you feet above your head?

Only went under in my neoprene waders. They where tight enough not to have a large air pocket. But that ice water made me jump out of the river really fast.

I don't think there is much danger of that since the water pressure pushes the waters close to your skin and there is not much room for any air. I have fallen and swift current can carry your down stream pretty easily. Believe me, I know!
