If so, what is your favorite fish to catch? And how often do you go and where? I went once in kauai, but did not catch anything. It was still a fun trip being on the water. I would like to go again, maybe in mexico. I am sad that it costs alot to do it.

As far as what fish we like... Marlin are fun and fairly good to eat should you choose to keep one. We usually keep 1 a year. Dorado are great to eat and a lot of fun to catch. They are also a beautiful fish for pictures. By far our favorite is Yellow Fin Tuna. Awesome fight, IMO the best eating, and crazy action when they are feeding. We also catch some Sierra, Grouper, Red Snapper and Rooster Fish, but do not surf fish much.
Its not a real exotic destination, but have you looked into a charter out of Venice, La?
No, I have not. Is there good fishing over there?
