I Have this old Cylinder Shaped Metal Tube that the Side flips open Is It A Fishing Creel? Or a Bait Holder?
Has a Leather Strap on it......

    Sounds like a worm box. They had cylinders with a trap door side and kidney shaped ones with a top lid. They made some in wisconsin called "Bob's Bait Box". They are considered inexpensive antique collectables. I suppose there may be some older rarer types that might be treasures.The leather straps were to attach to waders I think.
