Mine went to the bottom a while back. Evidently you have to tighten the rod every once in a while.[B)] I'll remember that from now on.

Well I should have never done it...Was having the crappiest day ever. Stopped off to fish "to unwind"....Hooked a nice bass and got hung up in a tree, broke the top off the pole. I threw the whole thing in and left.....


That was a number of years ago...

I always tape my spinning reels. If you can use a good soft tape like used on bicycle handle bars, it will keep the reel tight and improve the grip.

Had a little ultralight on a jig pole pulled thru hole in ice. Saw it sliding across ice and couldnt reach it in time. Northern Pike probably. Very frustrating.

I threw my rod and reel off the Port Hueneme pier when my hands slipped. I watched it sink into the ocean.[:0] Ed
