...My wife's grandfolks ran a little five cabin lodge there in the 1950's. They're long gone, but we went up there about 25 years ago. The crappie fishing was great. Instead of our usual trip to Missouri, we're thinking of heading up that way this year. Just wondering if anyone has fished in the Sand Lake area recently and have any lodging recommendations. I'm looking at Lakewood lodge.
