My catfish hole

We wait until they start generating then we float live shad about 12" below a bobber. As the bobber floats around the rocks the cats are on the calm side of the rock waiting to ambush any food that comes along.

The rocks in the pic are almost all underwater when the wheels start to turn.

    Looks like a cool spot...

When will the wheels spin? What do use use for ground tackle?

7" heavy action rods with Ambassador 7000 reels spooled with 20# test and 50# spiderwire leaders. The cats we catch here are only in the 5 to 20# range.
