lakes thawing....

Can't wait!! We live on boom lake, and I'm gonna fish it everyday if I can!! Anyone else looking forward to the lakes thawing?

    I'm south of you on Lake Winnebago and we have one of the earliest ice-outs ever. Not navigable quite yet due to floating ice, but very early this year. Not sure if this will be good for spawning though.

    LOL, Our lake (Lake Shelbyville) never froze this year!

    First time I can remember.

    Use to fish tournaments on Shelbyville years ago. It was a good fishing hole during the week but tough on the weekends. Been a long time since I was on that pond. quote:Originally posted by bambambam

    We are done with the ice here in SE MN too. Still holding on up on the northern lakes, but I doubt that will last long either. This has been one strange winter!

    The creek never froze this year...

    But OK we like the energy bill!
