Back in the river again

I have been recovering from lung cancer and am doing better. I now have the strength to wade and fish in the Holston river behind my house. I have had good luck and caught 2 nice smallies. In the clear shallow water I can see my lure and see them hit it. They can only go up so they jump with every strike. 4 lb line on an ultra lite. Good fun. May go again today.

I will say a prayer for your recovery....

Smallie fishing is a addiction of mine....the Rock River is just a couple blocks from my office. I hit it often during lunch and after work in the Spring and Fall....

No matter what size they are, they fight with everything they have

Glad to hear you're recovering! Fishing is good therapy regardless of the issue one is dealing with.
