neighbor lady at the lake fixes fishing reels and rods and it is a great hobby for her physical condition....question ..are there any assortments of small screws that are commonly used in ordinary reels ...she gets rods and reels at yard sales and fixes them up...nice work..thanx

    I know you can buy repair kits for Penn reels and Ambassador reels. The kits have assortments for various reels. I bought kits for both brands and I think they were in the neighborhood of $30.00 each. Hundreds of screws and various pins and snap rings. If I remember correctly they came from West Marine.

    I have several Penn reels and Ambassador reels and these kits works out great. I can always find a screw I need in them.
