Ordered up my medical records about a month ago.
How long does it take to get them & are they required to get treatment for injuries sustained.
Got my DD214 to register with the VA, but not sure for treatment.

Took them over a year to find mine! They were at a VA hospital in Montana. Have no idea why they were there?

Had to send for mine 6 times, only got about 10-20 pages at a time.
Took 2 years. Have DAV or AMVETS or some org. like them do it.
Also you do not need your records for treatment. If applying for disabilaty you will. Don't forget to send 20-25 ROi's ( Release of information ) And every doctor you've ever seen. Write letter in your own hand what the problem is. If it is emergency just go to VA walk in
May help depending where your at. Be polite and they will help,( after the goverment BS ) required by the gov. Not the guys and gals who work there.

    GOOD LUCK
