Its comming. Four hundred miles out in the Alaska Bush, and it will be here in July. I am astounded at the people who I never thought would have the slightest interest, working their tails off to make it happen. Have never gotten the chance to go to DC to see it and although the thought of seeing and touching it brings goose flesh to my body, I can't imagine not doing so. 10 friends from a town of 300 off to see the war, 6 of them on that wall. Is it possible that the rest of the country has remembered what we can't forget?

I have not been to Washington DC and have not been to the stationary wall, but the moving wall came through my town a few years ago and it was very worthwhile to visit it. It did provide some closure and contact to those that have gone ahead.

The Moving Wall is appropriately titled.
It came through here a few years back, and I was prepared to be disappointed. I was not.
I saw the Wall in D.C. The reverence and respect shown by visitors there was refreshing.
