Is there a web site I can do any research on a WWII veteran??..My dad was drafted in I believe 1942..I do have his dog tags so I got his serial number..that was one of the things we never talked about..his time in the war..and then mine..thanks for your help!

However, most WW2 files were lost in a fire in the 1970's but you might just get lucky and something of the file of the person you are researching might have survived.
