Thank you for enduring many ungrateful countrymen who were and are ingnorant enough not to realize that without you they would not be able to express their stupidity. Thanks to your families as well.     I am a father and uncle of recent Iraq veterans and new here.I just want to say thanks to all of you for your service and sacrifice.I was an Army helicopter crewchief back in the 70s and have recently retired after working at Ft.Rucker as a helicopter mechanic for many years.May your Higher Power bless you and yours on this Veterans Day.

    I just registered here to say THANK YOU guys for what you went through over there and when you got home. I wasn't even a thought yet when all of this was happening but I do have a few relatives who were there. I make it a point to thank anyone in uniform...the meanies wouldn't let me join because of health reasons. Anyway, thanks again...I can't say it enough!![:D]

    A BIG THANKS from me to. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran. I volunteered to go but was not selected. I lost friends over there and have felt guilty on many occassions thinking about it.
