Has any one seen or read this book? I read it back in about 1982 but can't remember a whole lot about it other than the way it started out and really pizzed me off to think that there were such people around and prolly more today.
I believe it started out with a nam Vet at college after returning with some type of amputation (leg or arm) being asked what happened to him and when he replied, "A land mine in vietnam". The asker (derilic) replied, "serves you right". The total disgust I had for that person's reply made me want to read the book more, and I don't read much of anything. I would like a copy of it again if someone knows how to find one.
