First I've heard of this. Anybody know anything about it.

Vietnam Veterans Day - 29 March 2013

Sharing is Caring ... and may God bless you all !

Read Senate Bill for Vietnam Veterans Day at http://www.myveteran.org/2013/03/vietnam-veterans-day-senate-bill.html

The mission is succeeding due to outstanding efforts from individuals representing other veteran organizations -

American Legion, AMVETS, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Group, DAV, IAVA, Vets Helping Vets, VFW, Vietnam Veterans of America, Wounded Warrior Project and others ...

representing every branch and rank of the United States Armed Forces and Department of Homeland Security !

Hooah and Semper Fi

I enjoy this project ... and who knows what can be achieved when Veterans, their families and friends share this image up till the day of the event ?

Please see Presidential Proclamation dated 29 March 2012
http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/03/29/presidential-proclamation-vietnam-veterans-day

I will be working on a PTSD Test which will be available online and help people learn some basic principles (by Rev Dr. Vernon Gotcher, Phd and David Apperson, PFC) outside of any legal and/or medical procedures.

..............................................

Welcome Home Vets !

To all who served in Vietnam ... may you, your family and your close friends be blessed as we all honor Vietnam Veterans on the 29th of March each and every year hereafter and forevermore !

Please share this image on your Facebook Page to welcome home veterans until the last MIA soldier, Sailor or Airman is back on American soil !

..............................................

Thanks everyone for helping to "Spread the Word" about the 29th of March being declared by the United States Senate "Vietnam Veterans Day" and what you can do -

1. Organize a Bar-b-q for Veterans, their Family and any Friends of the Veterans; and

2. Invite members from your local American Legion, VFW and churches to attend and bring a side dish

3. Have a good time and shake the hands with those who served in Cambodia, Laos and/or Vietnam !

Thank you very kindly

I think it's a very good idea, the VietNam Vets got the short end of a stick poked in their eye for service given. Anytime one can shake the hand of a VietNam vet it's a good day! They appreciate it! It's just too bad we can't shake the hands of those who didn't make it home because of poor political battlefield planning.

Well, this is the first I have heard of this holiday. I'll have to dig out my old uniform and go attend a march next Mar 29. I will also carry a copy of my DD214. There are a lot of Viet Vet imposters out there.
