I am a vet of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars..... I would like to thank you all for your service. With all the media attention that these wars has recieved, it is easy for our country to forget about the sacrifice you all have made. So, THANK YOU! I can't imagine the sacrifice YOU ALL have made. God Bless our Nation and those who protect it and our freedoms.

Ours was a political war, and now, with the help of the left, they are again making wars political.

No man or woman who answers the call and serves with honor deserves to be part of a political fight between cowards who live the freedom but sacrifice nothing in it's cause.

Thank you and thank you for your service too.

Ditto....... No one said squat to me when I came home in sept 69. I didn't get spit on, but no one thanked me either.

bob5150, your welcome, and thank you also.

I have always felt that the legacy of the Vietnam veteran was because of the lousy treatment given to them on their return, the country had rightfully a collective gilt and now treats our current warriors with the respect they deserve.

I can't say that. I lived in rural CO and was warmly welcomed home by my friends and relatives and thanked for serving. However, when I was in the airport in CA it was a different story! [;)]
