Anyone out there have a bong the cong tee shirt from Ft Polk? Cirka 1968.

    i was at Ft. Polk in '68, and don't remember seeing one. they surely didn't sell them at the P.X!

    I was at the other "Tiger Land" at Ft. Mc Clellan, and I can't imagine what would have happened to anyone with something like that.

    I don't recall the word bong even being used in the late 60s. By the early 70s, yes. But, that's different story, that has nothing to do with Charley.[:D]

    Not only were T shirts with bong the cong printed on them offered for sale at the PX,There were signs posted all over Tiger Land saying bong the cong and a GI slamming a rifle over a viet congs head.
