troop ship to Vietnam sailing dates

Did anyone here sail on a troop ship from Hawaii to vietnam[?]if so do your remember sailing dates
we had a one day stop over to refuel at okinawaI THINK IT WAS THE USNS

    We left Okinawa on May 01, 1965 on the U.S.S. Gunston Hall (LSD-5). We waded ashore at Chu Lai on May 07, 1965. E.Z. USN MCB 10, Seabees

    thanks elubsme Ithink I was later than that I was in 25TH Div
    Supply And transportation Battalion we went down on cargo nets then small landing craft. I can't spell damn names but we set up Div. headquarters in CU CHI ran convoys To Ton san nuet and conex CITY.
    Wrecker driver last truck in convoy also wheel vehicle Mechanic 631,b
