Veterans Exhibit Brain Differences
Week of May 14, 2007
Veterans of the first Gulf War who developed numerous health complaints have areas of the brain that are measurably smaller than those of healthier vets, according to a new study. The results of the U.S. government-funded study provide some of the first hard evidence that veterans from the 1990 to 1991 conflict are suffering from a real neurological illness, researchers say. The findings are preliminary and do not confirm that wartime exposures changed the veterans' brains, only that differences exist.
Do you think there closer to finding what's wrong with us?

Does anyone think they would say "why yes....200,000 Americans were exposed to the chemical X which caused Y"
uhhhhh...nope. Too expensive. Let's pretend we're looking for something...it's cheaper and will buy us time until they all die off.
Let's say they knew in 1991.

Just like agent orange in Vietnam.
Sarge...I think this is further results from the study that Ross Pero funded and initiated. The gov't ended up taking over his study...but the jist of it concluded that parts of our brains are dying.
If your telling me that I'm brain dead I allready knew that![;)]
But seriously: I heard something to this accord a few years ago.

Perot funded the study b/c he personally knew a several Special Ops guys that were so bad off they could not function and work. He knew these guys were the best of the best and there was no way that they were making up the fact that they could not function and lead a normal life. He spent his own money funding this study and found out that parts of our brains are dying...The US Gov't ended up taking over the study. They drug their feet with it for a couple years...now it sounds as if they are publishing some of their results.

Yup, We was all dumb enough to sign up.
Seriously, the government doesn't want to know. Then there would have to be some responsibility.
Kind of like the whole no chemical weapons were used thing. I still want to know just what set the M8 off and why the Fox vehicle disappeared the next day.
