well just thought i would let you all now that i did alright, did not qualify for the actual Bataan in New Mexico, but i did the march in about 3 hours which is not too bad. Thanks for the support check out the pics [:)]

well, i was, it is a comemorative march to honor the many fallen heroes of the phillippines. but it was only the pre-qual for the actual competition in New Mexico

The Bataan Death March Memorial is in Santa Fe, NM. It was put there because a Santa Fe Reserve unit was serving in the Philippines when the Japs attacked. The unit became the largest group, with the greatest number of casualties, on the death march.
