POSITION: INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
We are seeking candidates to fill 20 slots (immediately) for a DHS contract. These slots are for Intelligence Analysts supporting ICE Teams (International Customs Enforcement). Please see position duties and requirements below.
Functional Responsibility: Will be providing intell and threat analysis and production support. Will access and perform research on designated automated intelligence databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the customer, down-loading the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) to be specified by the customer. Will provide intell and threat analysis of the info that is tailored to customer's requirements. Develops documents, summaries, reports, presentations. Presents briefings to key personnel. A large portion of this work involves report writing.
Four Key Areas
Requests from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) relating to potential applicants for Federal employment-
Requests from the United States Secret Service (USSS) (primarily for potential White House visitors)
Requests on potential firearms purchases under the Brady Bill
Bio-metric criminal history matches to aliens admitted at Ports of entry (biometric watchlist hits)
The Analyst will be tasked to assist in gathering information, processing case files and reviewing investigations along-side ICE Agents. These positions are located in the VA/DC Metro area, with occasional travel to various locations within the US with the Field Investigative Unit. Other locations possibly available
Salary: $65K - $80K/yr
Requirements
Prior Military service (Honorable Discharge), or current Reservist/Guard. Military Police (Army and Marines), Security Forces (Air Force), Navy Police (Navy). Intelligence Specialists from all branches. Civilian Law Enforcement.
Bachelor's degree preferred
SSBI within the last 5 years

Possible Additional Work location and Temporary Duty Assignments:
Note: Travel for temporary duty for 30 days may be required at one of the following Field Intelligence Group (FIG) locations. Location and temporary duty travel duration is dependent upon the workload and priorities as defined by the Office of Intelligence COTR. This temporary duty may be extended for up to 60 days. It is anticipated that this could occur twice per year. (We are checking to see if candidates residing in or around any of the FIG locations would be able to work there as their primary work location.)
