The Kurds have established their area of control from northern Syria to northern Iraq and have taken over the oil fields in their area. About time that we started to work directly with them as they can kick radical butt...have done it time and again. We should be supplying them with everything they need to fight and get with a winner for a change. It will PO the Turks and the Iraqi's but, like, who cares? Sadly, it would take a strong and perceptive leader in the White House and we have a community organizer sitting there who is completely out to lunch when geopolitics is being played. Our guy is leading from behind and is.....rightly, always behind. That will change in 2016,

The Kurds have a recent historical reason to resist Sunni Muslims, and have been more reliable allies than almost any group in the region. If our support is going to fight ISIL, supporting the Kurds is probably our best bet.
