594 Passed in WA

All I have to say is complete BS, and UGH... as per normal elections the Pro-594 ads were completely misleading. In fact, they mentioned Gun broker directly, they pretty much insinuated that you can avoid background checks by simply buying firearms on gun broker. Unfortunately the opposing measure 591 didn't have the financial backing that 594 had.

Yep. It is a sad day for personal freedom. Ironic that the GOP made such in roads????
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Aye, 594 sucks but in all honesty, I don't sell/buy used guns, the older guns I occasionally buy fall under C&R which I have my C&R FFL, so all in all yes it sucks, but it's not the end of the world for me. What does concern me a bit is since this passed, what other gun laws are the anti-gunners going to try to get passed next time around. Despite living in a blue state we've always had really lax gun laws, but with all of the anti-gun rhetoric going around lately I really wonder how long it'll last, I see it as all the more incentive to move to Montana.

We are fighting in Montana daily to keep our rights.
Every election sees anti-gun Super PACs pouring money into obscure organizations like 'Montana Hunters & Anglers Leadership Fund' that disappear right after the election.
Most of the monies can be traced back to anti-gun PACs like 'America Votes' and 'Emily's List'.

This 2nd Amendment battle is happening in every state, and eventually there will be no good state to move to if we keep losing them one by one.

PS- Amanda Curtis (D) with an 'F' rating by the NRA was beaten out by pro-gun Steve Daines. Amen.

Good luck on your fight in WA and never give in.

Mob rule is never good. Even if you agree with the out come it is nothing more than the minority imposing its will to stifle the rights of the minority.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

Pretty much eliminates gun shows as we've known them, or may possibly eliminate them altogether.

First they came for the Saturday night specials, and I did not speak out-
    Because I had nice guns.

Then they came for the Machine Guns, and I did not speak out-
Because I did not have one.

Then they came for the assault rifles, and I did not speak out-
    Because I already had mine.

Then they came for me -and there was no one left to speak for me.

One can only hope that the SAF challenges it in court. Utterly amazing how this turned out not to mention the dangerous precedence it sets.

Ill conceived, poorly written (probably unread as well), NO SUPPORT from the majority of law enforcement, unenforceable, and yet it passed.

It passed because of the moneyed interests involved and a corrupt and compliant media complex. It had nothing to do with safety, reducing crime, or protecting the general public. A frickin disgrace!!!

It passed because they lied and because they induced another school shooting a week and a half before the vote.

The good news is that this law is so convoluted and poorly written that we should have no issues getting it thrown out in court.
