Executive Order???????

There is an underlying feature on this executive ( supposed ) order on the AR & 223 ammo issue. How many of the people buying into this and are hitting the panic button understand three key words. Manipulation, Collusion, Extortion, & this is not coming out of the White House, this is coming from the ammo hogs who have sweet heart deals with the distributers to rape the shooting community.

It is my understanding that this has come about due to the ATF attempting to enforce regulations on the books that prohibit the use of armor piercing bullets in pistols. It appears to be more of an interpretation than making new law. Until the pistol versions based on the AR platform came out this wasn't an issue. There probably should be grandfathering in this case as the 223 cartridge in general was not designed or intended for use in a pistol but the ATF is gonna see where it goes..............In a way it's a "chicken before the egg" scenario......

Up until approximately two weeks ago there were hundreds of ammo listings that were basically being ignored by buyers or very few offers to buy. Just look at the page today and what a rumor has created. Total chaotic, mindless buying regardless of what the seller is asking. All of this from a rumor and no one seems to be able to pin down exactly who started this rumor. Could be this, could be that, could be something else, but nothing based in fact, but who is capitalizing on this rumor. It is on your own web site plain and clear.

That is because it is not a rumor, it is a bonafide BATFE proposal that is in its comment period before becoming policy. After the comment period the Marxist Obama appointees at BATFE will ban them unless congress acts and that ain't gonna happen with the gutless pansy (R) leadership.

It is what Obama wants it is part of his agenda, he hates guns and wants them gone. Since he can't get gun bans through congress he will ban the most popular ammo sold by Executive Rule.

His idea is like his claim about power companies building a coal fired power plant, they are allowed to do it but Obama will make sure it bankrupts them. Same with ammo, you can have your AR-type rifle but you can't afford to shoot it.

People do panic and make matters worse for themselves, it is human nature, nothing will change it. It is also time to cash in for the smart and frugal. Those that slowly stocked up on the ammo are now selling surplus at a handsome profit. It is the American way.

I refuse to participate in the panic, biding my time reloading ammo for my needs, waiting for panics to end. Others would be wise to do the same.

I agree with everything you say, but this is not the America I was born and raised in since 1945.

AMEN and it never will be again. the decline is constant it started in 1970 and will continue until our Republic tears itself apart. The two coasts, full of Progressive Socialists, will destroy what is left of our freedom, trading it for the illusion of security.

The cesspool of Washington DC will never change, the corruption runs from top to bottom. The good guys, Limited government, balanced budget and the rule of law thinkers, are so few they make the news by being mocked by the Marxist press Corps.

Apparently I now own 1000's of rounds of M2AP that I can no longer sell.

That's OK, I have clips and magazines that will accomodate it if someone tries to come and get it someday.
Make no mistake. This is not just Obama and the Democrats. This is establishment politicians of all stripes.

I sincerely hope I am going to be proven wrong but I am afraid that all those hundreds of thousands of folks who paid $800.00 to $2000.00 for all those AK/AR type weapons are going to wind owning something that is going to become a wall ornament or only worth 1/4th of what they paid for them. I have always been apprehensive of this hysterical AR/AK frenzy that started about 15 to 20 yrs. ago that it was ultimately going to be a primary catalyst for the anti-gun movement!!!!!!!!!!

Sir, me thinks the "gun Control" issue; which is actually people control has been going on for a lot longer than the AR craze. It began in 1968 and has accelerated in Urban areas and in some states unhindered by reality, facts or the constitution. Remember Saturday night specials? How about COP KILLER BULLETS, assault rifles, high capacity magazines, the 50 BMG. The 4473 form is now four pages where it used to be 2, you are no safer because the government has you answer more BS questions about your race or other such trash.

There is no gun on earth as dangerous as those people that want you disarmed. Make no mistake about it, Marxists and Socialists want you disarmed. Once disarmed they are free to oppress. The issue is people control not gun control or if a particular bullet can go through a cops vest.

You are right in all of your points. Everything they do is about control of the people in any way they can pull it off. Just look at the Net Neutrality bill. It is just my thought that they have been looking for many years for one specific catalyst that is going to be the tipping point and the AR/AK issue just may be what they were looking for. Many times even though I am a Life Member, the NRA has played right into their hands.
