Mother Jones website hypocrisy

Member Posts: 673 ✭✭✭✭
You all should get a kick out of this. It's a copy of an exchange I had with a self-righteous liberal woman on the Mother Jones website.
After preaching to me about what she knew and how uneducated I was, she then criticized me for addressing her as "little girl." She said it was belittling. What follows is a conversation wherein she volunteers the information that Mother Jones is a liberal website rather than a news site, that she is an admitted bigot, and that conservatives basically have no right to express their opinions.
By the way, I found her on facebook and it turns out she is a Muslim with ties to Egypt, perhaps the Muslim Brotherhood. Hmm, a Muslim woman complaining about being belittled by a man? Do I detect some insincerity there?

I don't speak for "Dissent." Ask him yourself. What do you think I am? Some kind of secretary. I guess that's the only way you can relate to women. They're supposed to SERVE you. Pitiful.
Thanks for calling me "young lady,"though. At my age, that's a compliment. I'll try not to think that it's belittling, no matter what my granddaughter tells me.

"I don't speak for" Dissent." Ask him yourself. "
I did, and that's where you stuck your nose in and called me a misogynist bullying troll. So now you've injected yourself into the conversation, answer my questions.
I don't particularly care if you are male or female; you're obnoxious and you're sex has nothing to do with it.
You started by telling me that I thought the whole thing was a joke when it was neither your place orvany of your business. Then you tried to assume the moral high ground by lecturing me about rape and incest.
Now you are trying to fault me when you are responsible for most of the argument.
My advice to you: get a life.

Basically, you're telling me, "Shut up, woman and know your place." t must be really annoying to have uppity females tell you to your face what a coward you are.
It's up to the moderators of this LEFTIST blog to decide when and where I can post here, not you. YOU are the troll here, not me, and it's YOUR POSTS that have been deleted by the moderator, not mine.
You did indeed think the discussion was a joke, and since it was a comment to me, I think it certainly was my business. I have utter contempt for your whining about it, and also for your asking me to explain Dissent's comment to you as if you had earned any kind of friendship from me after your stupid obnoxious assumptions about me.
Me try to assume the moral high ground? Well, if that's the way you want to see it, then I guess I do indeed have the moral high ground.
You advise me? You arrogant jerk.

Bigot, a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
You, Romi, fit that definition to a tee.
The rules for posting on this blog include, "no ad hominem attacks, repeat posts, off-topic rants,...or hate speech."
Lets see now, I've called you a little girl, young lady, and stupid, and you are whining about that; it's a capital offense.
In return you've called me a coward, misognymist bullying bigot, and weasel. You've said about me, "he doesn't have the guts to say what he really thinks. You told me directly, "You don't have the guts." Then, to remove all doubt about your bigotry, you wrote, "Southerners are weasels."
Yep, that's a sure sign of a bigot, and a hypocritical one at that.
You started your last post telling me what I was really saying, but you have yet to show the courtesy to ask me what I meant. No, you'd rather assume your own interpretation and, based on your ideas, call me names and attack me personally.
In at least three places you have told me what I am really thinking based on one or two words taken out of context. You've told me what I'm thinking, and thenn condemned me for what you "knew I was thinking.
On this blog, in the last few days, I've been subjected to being called skippy, tool, silly twit, bagger, bogus charlie, "your lazy *," senile old goat, condescending jack *, bigot, fauxbot, bogus charlie, squirrel, ""full of poop," etc. Yet you have the nerve to complain that I am belittling you.

For you to quote me the rules for the blog of a website that you label a rag is the height of hypocrisy. You come here opposing most of what MJ stands for, and it is amazing to me that the owners of this website even tolerate you and allow you to post your nonsense here. And furthermore, it is absurd that you would expect a warm reception from people who agree with MJ. What do you expect people here who support the POV of MJ to say to you? Do you really think leftists are so stupid that they will just shut up when trolls like you show up?
You need a reality check, Mister Charlie.

This is rich! I'm laughing at you.
Basically, what you are saying is that yes, you're a bigot, but what should I expect because, after all, I don't agree with you.
Oppose what MJ stands for? Well, MJ claims to stand for "smart, fearless jouralism" and "Because you can count on us to take no prisoners, cleave to no dogma, and tell it like it is."
No dogma? Surely, but you are saying just the opposite.
So, Romi, it is okay when you use insults and names, but let me address you as little girl, and it's a federal offense.
Quoting the rules? Well, little girl, everyone has to obey the rules, so you need to pay attention to them.
"You need a reality check, Mr. Charlie."
Thank you, Ms Romi. For your consideration:
-bigot, a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
-prejudice, preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. For example, imagining that you know what someone is thinking.
-inequity, lack of fairness or justice. For example, rules that are applied unequally.
-shame, a painful feeling of humiliation or distress caused by the consciousness of wrong or foolish behavior. For example, well, you wouldn't know.

Isn't it interesting how the 'all inclusive' left is, indeed, all inclusive as long as you agree with them?
