In an interview this morning, he stated that we need to cut waste in government, citing a $ 2.4 billion cost over-run on CVN-78, the Gerald R. Ford, and '100s of millions in over-runs on the F-35'.
His next statement was that we need to get rid of sequestration so that we can spend the money on defense structure that we need.
There is a lot of low hanging fruit at the Pentagon, but politically, the U.S. Congress refuses to act. Last time I check, John McCain was a fairly senior member of the Senate, and is current the chair of the Senate Armed Forces Committee.

Instead of electing someone that failed at his mission and got captured why did they not elect someone that flew the same missions that were successful?? He's always been a loser and he's a loser now that's getting the rest of us shot down with him.
