There's no fortune to be made. Even if you have a new energy source that costs the same as today's and emits no CO2, it will be uncertain compared with what's tried-and-true and already operating at unbelievable scale and has gotten through all the regulatory problems.

Without a substantial carbon tax, there's no incentive for innovators or plant buyers to switch.

If I happen to be placed in charge after the revolution that overthrows the current political system in favor of socialism, I'll be sure to confiscate his business first, you know, in the name of the people. OF COURSE he did that by stomping on the people in ways such as selling his Windows programs at outrageous profit, and insuring that the new versions are incompatible with older machines.
