I told ya Cruz was going to trounce Trump, polls say he is catching up fast and with Governor India Beech siding with the other Hispanic baby Rubio and Bush's Mom and Bro begging the military for votes Cruz will win SC 37% Trump 29% Rubio 18% Bush 6% Kaisch 5% and Carson 3%.
The public is dumb, they are told who to vote for subliminally by the media and the pundits. No one wants to vote for a loser, so Trump had a huge lead, but the public has heard they are stupid to vote for him and so they will line up with Cruz and Rubio with some of the old veterans staying loyal to Bush.
Once Cruz gets the nomination the fear of ultra conservatism will push middle of the road RHINO's and others to vote for the only candidate left, Sanders if Hillary is indeed derailed due to her legal issues.
Trump won't spend his own money to go independent unless he is guaranteed a win.
