We Have a Representative Form of Government

That is, we vote for a person who is supposed to represent us in our wants and needs. The people who voted in the Republican primary indicated they wanted Trump as their candidate. So why won't our representatives represent the people?

I'd guess they're afraid he might be lying and will be as bad as Hilly (or will deliberately throw the election to her with his attacks on women, etc.)

Either that or they're afraid he can't win with a 67% negative rating, as scores of polls have stated so far. He has the highest negative rating of any Presidential candidate in history.

It's sadly funny that Republicans will nominate the one person who is more hated by the general population than Hilly is.

I will vote for him, but I think it will take a miracle for him to win.

Oil your guns for the third Clinton regime.

What are you talking about? The process is not over yet, and Trump has not reached 1237. In fact there is talk that Cruz could still win Nebraska as well as other states as he is still on the ballots and the stop trump crowd is really pissed. Not likely but Cruz did not drop out of the campaign, he merely suspended it. Once the convention occurs, and delegates cast their ballots and trump is named the nominee then he can claim it. It is not his yet.

So what representatives are you talking about?

Ah yes, but there is nothing in the US Constitution about political parties. They have totally taken over our government and as far as their candidates go, they can pretty much do anything they want to.
