Predictions about Brexit

The remaining members of the EU are going to make it as hard on Britain as they can, even to the point of hurting their own economies.
Why?
So they can give more ammunition to the factions that want to stay in the EU.
Leaving the U is a win-win situation for Britain. She can avoid the problems of the EU while continuing on her own little way.
When you consider the down side of Britain's membership in the EU, almost all of the problems come from outside. Uncontrolled immigration. The Greek bailout. Terrorism. Currency fluctuations. Import/export regulations. They all originated outside of Britain, but they have come into Britain for solution, for British wealth.
Look, socialism does not work. Pulling all those countries together to help each other only results in the ones with the poorest economies and most corrupt governments getting wealth from all the others while they dump their problems over the nearest border.
And then there are the bureaucrats. Bureaucrats don't give a crap for the people they work for, only for themselves and their jobs. If you don't believe that, go visit your nearest Department of Motor Vehicles and ask for help.
The EU is run by a horde of bureaucrats in Brussels who owe no allegiance or responsibility to anyone but their immediate superiors, just like our federal bureaucracy.
So Britain will do nothing but better being on her own so long as the remaining EU doesn't try to punish her, which is exactly what will happen. I just hope the Brits can hang in there long enough to show the other restless nations what they can do if they dump the EU.

If Britain is the major support for EU, how can they fail? I'm not into the "Brexit" thing so don't follow the internal politics of it all and maybe I'm confused.
I feel the US would be far better off dumping the UN and using those funds wasted on UN idiocy for OUR benefit.
Maybe Britain has decided the same about EU.
