The Department of Justice does not issue emergency stays.

Trump does certainly seem to be having trouble with the concept of separation of powers.

Somewhere, Yates is smiling. She took an oath to the constitution, not to POTUS.

Yeah, All can tell now Trump needs an education to play with all three forms of governments.First every two years representative's are reelected or replace.

Two The Judicial system on the lower Federal courts are not all republicans or conservatives.

Third Trump he can be Impeach just like Nixon if steps over the line and turncoats do happen in your administration if they think you can't be reelected! [:D]

Let's pray for Arnold Schwarzenegger however for he may be terminated
if he can't get those ratings up![;)]

I am reminded of a quote by Andrew Jackson.

"The judge has made his decision, now let him enforce it."

Trump's people let him down in the writing of the order.

Whomever inserted the non-operative 'religious minorities' statement, while no doubt trying to curry favor with the religious right, opened the door to an establishment clause review. I personally believe it to be a specious argument, as providing relief for an oppressed minority religion in no way violates the establishment clause, nor does it fail the statutory test of favoring one religion over another. There is little doubt that, as the middle east becomes more and more islamist, Christians and Jews will experience the need to leave.

It should have not been included in the order, however, but made a part of the vetting procedure once travel was opened up.

Also, there appears to be a statutory conflict with the order's singling out residents of these countries. Previous restrictions from these areas addressed people who had resided in or visited these countries. The statutory restriction upon favoring people based upon country of origin again opens the door for a specious challenge.

The fact is that this is a temporary restriction with a defined sunset based upon improvements to our vetting program. The AGs of Washington and Minnesota (for example) are making a political case that for which the state really has no standing.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

The dust has settled and the consensus is: Pretty much as McManus has stated.

Should the order not be resolved and ultimately moves to the Supreme Court (which is unlikely) and the order gets a "favorable" ruling would it limit the powers of the president FOREVER,, such a Rvs.W? That outcome would NOT BE GOOD,, for anyone.

Should it go to the Supreme court,, what about Ginsburg? in my opinion she should be recused.

Personally I'd rather see it resolved tomorrow,, but if not,, Wine and circuses for the people.

The first battle shaping up will be fought using the courts as the battlefield and attorneys as the Generals. The troops will be split amongst the populace.

Hope there will be a huge show of support for Trump and not necessarily a protest of the whoosies/libtards/anarchists and rioters.

The left has "nothing" to protest against,, they aren't visible and have zero ideas.
