One plan being floated for Trumpcare is that insurance premiums become a tax credit.
Today, the IRS can only confiscate from your tax refund.
If insurance premiums become a tax credit, you are in effect penalized that credit if you choose not to buy insurance.
Now, you can evaluate whether the penalty will be larger or smaller than your premiums or tax refund. If this Trumpcare plan goes through, you will effectively pay the full premium to the government rather than an insurance company.

Boo hoo,....I have done that kind of work for 34 years, and am in my 25th year of having my own business. I have worked hard, but I have made a very nice living, and have provided for my upcoming retirement (without counting on SS) as well.
If you're willing to work, and use your brain a little, a seven figure net worth is easily within reach for a common 'Joe'. Even in this world of vast conspiracies.
Spend more time working/planning/investing, and less chasing whacko theories and you might do a bit better yourself.

If you ever studied the pyramid system of wealth then you know all people cannot obtain the wealth you so described. The masses must be on the bottom to hold up the the well off or wealthy.

The organized use the disorganized and most Federal & State Tax laws are lobbied for tax break cuts and write-offs that the common man has no access to.

Why is it either or? Why can't the citizen make his/her own choices about the level of care they want. If you get cancer you can refuse all treatments and die if you so choose. Why then can't you also choose little to no healthcare at all?
Last time I saw my Dr. I asked about some screening tests for cancer, he told me not to worry about it. We live day to day that its almost impossible to catch the killer that will take you out.
