Can someone please explain the repercussions of the US Embassy in Israel moving from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem?
I understand that it is a significant event, but I don't understand why, or what it means on a global scale.

It is an official recognition that Jerusalem is a legitimate part of Israel, and not an "occupied territory".
2017 is a year of Jubilee, after all....just like 1967 was.
Well, in this case, might makes right but the mayhem of The Muslim world is just beginning. Turkey will leave NATO soon and The EU will establish it's own defense force.
America Arm Forces now have a base in Isreal too! Trump and Netanyahu are both secular leaders and will be swept away from office soon enough.

The muslims don't want Jerusalem to be seen as the capital of Israel. They believe it is occupied Territory and rightly belongs to either Palestine or Jordan depending on who you are talking to.

The muslims don't want Jerusalem to be seen as the capital of Israel. They believe it is occupied Territory and rightly belongs to either Palestine or Jordan depending on who you are talking to.
The Muslims did live there for a few centuries after the 12 tribes where scattered after The Romans burn them out after killing Christ. Then in the seventh-century The Muslims founded their religion.
