Another member once wrote something to the effect:
"Nobody has a clear vision of what victory would look like in that 3rd world toilet bowl."

He was severely flamed by other members who were veterans of that conflict.
Im sure he has recieved a flood of apologies from those folks.

While I mourn the loss of our troops and pray for their families, one thing comes to mind I heard right after 9-11. The answer to the Afghan problem is to build a brick wall around their used food country. Why. Then fill it with water.

The list is too damn long.[V][:(]
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche

grumpy.... Your posts are at least appreciated by these forums.

I do wish they were unnecessary. It saddens me deeply to read almost 250 posts of casualties from this damn war.

Keep the vigil grumpy 'till there are no more casualties to post about...
I'll continue to read in remembrance to their raw courage and faithful support of freedom.

RIP Soldiers, Airmen, Seaman, and Marines... Thank you ALL for your faithful service and ultimate sacrifices.
