Taking zeros off the currency has been done in many countries. Taking three zeros off the Mexican Peso late last century seems to have worked fairly well. I was in France around 1960 when they were using both the old Franc & a new Franc worth 100 old Francs.
I would like for us to have a new Dollar worth 10 old Dollars so coins would be useful again & checks would be easier to write.
