What's New
Dear Second Amendment March Supporter,

Things have been busy here at Second Amendment March! Your letters of support and encouragement continue to roll in. We read each and every one, and try to respond to as many as possible. Please forgive us if we somehow neglect to send a reply. Your support is very much appreciated, since this event cannot happen without YOU.

So, what's been happening, you ask? Read on!

Upcoming Interviews

Skip Coryell on the Norm Jones Show!

This Friday at 10:30 AM EST, Skip Coryell will be interviewed by talk show host Norm Jones of WTCM - NewsTalk 580 in Traverse City, Michigan.
You can stream the show live at http://www.wtcmradio.com/.

Skip will be talking about all aspects of the Second Amendment March for about 30 minutes.

Can you feel the momentum, folks? It's building! We are reaching critical mass! The time is now!

Lighting the Fires of Liberty!

This Friday night at 10PM EST, Skip Coryell, Founder of the Second Amendment March, will be interviewed by Constitutional scholar and advocate, Michael Badnarik, on a special show called "Firearms Friday". This will be an exclusive 2-hour interview and is heavily dependent on calls from listeners. If you have any questions for me, please call in from 10PM to Midnight EST at this number: 800-259-5791.

You will be able to stream the show live at http://www.gcnlive.com/Programs/LightingFiresOfLiberty/Program.html.
This is going to be a great show and Skip is looking forward to taking your call.
Website Updates
We've made just a few changes to the website.

New Donation Payment Provider
Based on your feedback, we moved away from using PayPal as our payment gateway for donations. We discovered a great alternative service that offers us better tools for managing your donations, and for about the same fees that PayPal charged.

Promotional Materials Available
A "Promotional Items" link has been added to the site. On that page you can now download a simple pdf flyer to print and distribute.

We have also created a few images for website owners to include on their site to link back to us.

For anyone who so desires, we have also added the code to include our donation button on your website or social networking page.

Database In Place
Our site has been moved to its new server, and a database is now in place. We will be adding many features in the coming weeks that will help us to better organize information and provide a rich user experience for you on our site.

New Mailing List Provider
We have moved to a more robust mailing list provider that allows us to better communicate with you, our supporters. We already have over 2,600 subscribers. Not too bad for a movement that is under two weeks old! Keep up the great work and spread the word! By the way, did you notice that in each newsletter there is the option to forward it to a friend? (hint hint)

What's Coming Up
Terri is working on a volunteer signup form, which will allow people to also indicate their interest in becoming a regional march coordinator for their home state.
We are working to create more designs and promotional items for you, including t-shirts and bumper stickers. If you are a printer and could help us out with printing bumper stickers and the like, please let us know.
The site will be redesigned to accomodate the addition of new features, as well as make it friendlier to some of our dial-up supporters.
Stay tuned for more...
And thanks for your patience! This is our passion, but we have day jobs, too, and sometimes we have to juggle the workload a bit. ;)

And Speaking of Donations...

A huge THANK YOU to all of you who have donated. There is quite a bit of expense involved in putting an event of this magnitude together, so your generosity is greatly appreciated.

If you are so inclined, you may donate by clicking on the button below, which will take you to our secured payment form. We are all unpaid volunteers, so your donations go directly to expenses incurred for putting the march together!

Thanks for your continued support. United we stand!

Sincerely,

Second Amendment March

Our Mission

The mission of the Second Amendment March is to galvanize the courage and resolve of American gun owners; to petition our elected officials against establishing anti-gun legislation; and to remind America that the Second Amendment is necessary to maintain our right to self defense.
It is the one right that protects
all others.
We will accomplish our mission by a centralized, peaceful march on the United States Capitol, supported by satellite marches to State Capitols and smaller cities all across America.

That's the goal!!! One step at a time, first let's stop the bleeding. To accomplish what you want, we must first get the attention of as many American voters as possible. Only the people can vote in those who will honor our constitution. The people will not be swayed to do that unless the message is taken to them. This is but a step in that movement. Most of those in office now are not going to take the initiative to start reversing laws, although there are a few. One step at a time is how we got here and that is how we will get back.
