Band of Brothers

HighballHighball Member Posts: 15,755
Gentlemen ;
For the few that matter, I wish to pass on some `feelings' of mine. Some may have noticed my absence on the forums.
I have reached a milestone of sorts ..recently turning 60. Along with that, came the realization that perhaps all has been said that needs saying...that we have reached all the men we can reach. Conditions continue to deteriorate in this country ..rapidly.

I cannot travel ANYWHERE without hearing common, ordinary citizens outraged at what is happening ..and without any urging from me what-so-ever. I hear women telling me that they will not allow their husbands to sell weapons of any sort...for fear they will need them soon.
Personally, I never had patience for the jack-boot lovers ..the `government knows best' types that infest this once great country. The forums have been a good medium for the eight years I have been on them. We seem to have a new hand at the helm, now, however ..there was several very good discussions that were not locked ..they evaporated. I no longer feel the need to buck the tiger.
What will be, will be.
I drop by now and again to read some of the posts. Only once or twice in the last 6 weeks have I felt the slightest urge to respond.
All things have their time...and all things change.

I may return in the winter ..but perhaps not. All is well, here. No swan song, this...I have changed NOTHING in my basic drive for and love of Liberty....REAL Liberty...not the depraved, despotic, tattered raped husk we live in today.
Keep your head up ..the barstsards MUST be watched like the infectious disease they are.

Our little band of brothers has served as an inspiration for me for quite some time now ..and will do so in the future.
Do NOT doubt that we are the rightful Heirs of those mighty men ..the Founders.
Never back down from the garbage out there ..the Quislings, the cowards, the scum that clogs your path.
I urge you once again....do NOTHING that will discredit us....allow the enemy to make the final, fatal mistake of pushing too far one of these days.
Then, in the words of one of the most courageous young women I have ever met.....`Never forget , and NEVER FORGIVE".
good day, all.

If you were to post a Swan Song, HB, it would be hard to top the above.

Please do drop by, it is always good to hear from you.

Until you do, though, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the time and effort you have put in on this forum. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for being harsh enough to penetrate my thick skull and (with others here) create an opening that let in the light of truth.

Nice to hear from you again, HB. I don't post much anymore, just lurk mostly, because too many around that seem Ok with the way things are and have no wish to rein in the beast. Maybe I'm defeatist in tha regard, as I don't feel my opinions, feelings or ideas mean all that much in the grand scheme of things, and basically that I'm pretty insignificant.

Allow me to thank you, much as Don did, for giving me some insight and an awakening of sorts, and for the inclusion in "the flock", it felt good to be accepted, and to have others who share my passion for our country and our constitution.

Don't be too much of a stranger, some folks still need a good kick in the seat of the pants, and you sir don't pull any punches [:D]

Your words have even made the opposition think, Don't get me wrong I still do not believe the NRA is selling us down the river, nor am I your opposition, however, My eyes have been opened to many more facts about the organization, because of you, and your band of brothers! Very sincerely do stick around.[:)]

It is really good to hear from you HB. Thought perhaps you got lost in the shop and couldn't find your way out. [;)]

You are an eye opener friend. You make people think, even if you do so, in a no BS manner. Your posting HAS been missed. I am hopeful to see more in the future.

As busy/lazy as I have been since January, I have not forgotton about your package I need to send. I WILL send it off this weekend, to the address you gave me. I hope you can pass it along to someone you find deserving of it.

Brother Bert, my friend.[:)] My mood is brightened and my spirits lifted to see your post.

Your stated position and sentiments are understood. Hope you drop in more frequently, but in the event that you do not, you are missed and from me to you........you are one of the few remaining individualist Americans. That means something.

You need or want anything, you know how to reach me.

    Take care Highball.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Understand, however, each one of you is a leader.
You have broken the bonds of slavery to a Beast that intends to destroy those of us intelligent enough to see it for the beast it is. You will never again accept without question ANYTHING said by those in power ..and that is the curse you must bear. You are now out in the cold...but you stand in the sunlight, even if it is winter sunlight here in America.

Every one of you must continue to look inward, to dig out the rotten places...places corrupted by your previous acceptance of `facts' spewed out by men determined to undermine every concept of decency, Americanism, honor, and morals left to us.
Each time you excise such rot...you get stronger...and so too does America.

You are the last, best hope for American values and the future of this country...some 8 to 10 million remnant peoples. Those that have studied in depth our situation will be required to gather those peoples up and re-institute the Constitution and Bill of Rights, one day.
God Bless you all ,and may He keep you and yours safe.

I hope to see you back in full bloom when you find the time.

    Number 6 ;
Never considered you to be anything other. Whatever differences we had would have been settled in ten moments over a hot cup of coffee or a cold brew.
One thing for damn sure..every one of us is an individual. We may well have agreed to disagree about this or that..but we, I am sure, would have walked away respecting the other...with the core values of Americanism intact.

    [:D]Careful Highball.

Before you know it, you'll be back in the fray, kicking collectivists and anti-constitutional types in the nuts again.

I'll say this much, it sure ain't the same here when HB isn't trying to knock some sense into some knucklehead who just doesn't "get it" when it comes to the constitution and our republic [:D]

Gotta love some good old straight talk instead of the hand holding, spoon feeding and baby-sitting that seems to infest the world........

    I agree fully.
Take your time off, but return to us when you are done.

    I regret withdrawing my position.
It was done in anger, and far too swiftly for an intelligent person,.....which I do consider myself.

What is done is done, and there is no person to blame but myself, and my short temper at the time. I accept 100% responsibility for it.

I have the utmost respect for virtually all of you, and do consider you "brothers."

You will note that you are still listed on the Roster. Resigned.

That indicated a voluntary movement on your part..and no rejection by myself or any other.
One does not throw a brother out..even if he requests it. One merely must abide by the decision..even if that decision does not set well. Respect demands it.

Gentlemen, I fully grasp your comments concerning re-entering the fray. Much as a fish needs water...one such as I needs the animosity of the Beast lovers...it makes me stronger.

I am covered up in projects, garden, completely redesigning the shops..the list is endless.

I have been on and am still on the biggest scariest roller coaster I have ever been on. I thought the rules were well laid out before I got on. I still read, often.

Good to see good company, may God help us all.

I'll eagerly await your return, Highball. The forum needs more like you.

We've had our spats, but in all seriousness, I think you've forced more people on this forum to take a hard look at what they believe than anyone in the forum's history.

You've made a difference, Highball. No one can say otherwise.
