quote:Bill of rights = Lawful authority to carry a fixed blade?
A chap () over on the airgunbbs stated that the Bill of rights gave us lawful authority to carry a fixed blade knife (or baton, or lockin folder etc), since it wasn't specificially banned by an act of parliament.

Has this been discussed here before, and what if any is the general opinion on this?

Enjoy em while you got em. They will be taken from you eventually, just as ours were and when it boils down to a choice between jail or surrendering them, you'll give em up ....or your kids will.
