Tired of "Miss- Information"

The Media & others are saying...Guns are being sold over the Internet without background checks...This is NOT my experience! I have purchased guns on Gun Broker. Each one was sent to a FFL Dealer. The Dealer would then do a background check prior to completing the sale...In Michigan anyway.

    ONe of my facebook friends was convinced her son could buy an AK-47 on the internet. I told her try it and see what happens. She resisted the facts as if brainwashed.

    This lie was in my local paper today quoting the Brady people. They said 40% of all gun sales are done without a background check at gun shows and through the internet. I think private sales and C&R sales is what they are talking about but I think the % is grossly inflated.

    It's a lie by omission. Call hand gun control inc. and ask them for the stats of convictions of people selling guns through the mail illegally, I bet they can't produce any. If this was being done and they know about it then someone had to be busted to make the stats possible.

    Don't know about you guys but if some yahoo wanted to sell me a gun through the mail illegally, I don't care how good the deal is I'd think he was a fed running a sting.

    I tell people the gun show loop hole is legal in states because the states want it that way and it's none of the Federal Government's business.
