If this was the opening salvo, he may have or did he hit key areas to exploit later? If I were looking at this from the view of a war I would say that he was preping the battle field, what do you think? could this just be preping , does it make more since in this context? The big things we expected he did not order, makes me wonder what this 23 was really about.

I think he was beating around the bush and the primary thing that he would like to slip through that he can without a big battle is the CDC looking at gun ownership as a disease. I think the rest was sword rattling and an attempt to excite the public to keep the frenzy going.

The CDC really doesn't want to jump back into the guns and violence arena because them already went that route and determined that guns and domestic violence +/- drug use greatly increases the chances of bad news. Since drug user's generally are supposed to be excluded from being possessor's ..... that is pretty well covered and we all pretty much know how that is working out.

I loved the article(s) that came out about the percentage of people that lied on the firearms forms .. and apparently there is no penalty or follow up for people that do lie?

This is a one way street driven by the Obama media and none of the statistic that they come up with are anywhere near fact or accurate. Ever time a new poll comes out saying how America want this and that, I wonder who they are asking this time. I know I get poll calls several times a day, but thanks to caller ID, I don't have to answer them and I believe most intelligent people shy away from them too. So, who does that leave for who is doing the polls? Yep, thought so.

I think they want and are pushing a civil war. And the Movie coming out about Lincoln glorifying crushing of states rights seems to have been strategically released to prep the sheeples mind set.

That was my thoughts too on the matter. Marital law would be topping on the cake for Obama. Not a pretty image and no predictable outcome, but the rumblings seem to pretty much support that a line has been drawn in the sand.
