Ban on .50 cal weapons & ammunition?

Has anyone heard of an upcomoing ban on .50 cal firearms?

    If you live in LA, this is already a reality. After Emperor Davis sees the "smashing success" in crimes committed with .50BMG's (so far, I have only ever seen 1, and that was pulled of by a police officer with access to too much firepower and having that "I am God" complex that makes the lowest denomination of police believe they are above the law) this will be commonplace in the Sozialist Republik of Kalifornistan next, but it isn't like this ban is solving anything, like all other gun kontrol. My guess would be that it will not happen anywhere else.
