In the People's Republic of Kalifornia, they have reported that some 33,000 sex offenders are not being kept track of;they are supposed to register in compliance of the law to keep a database up to date. Law enforcement is supposed to go after those who do not comply. They are largely unable to do so with a lack of funding and personnel. And some 52 percent are going to be repeat offenders after leaving prison.
Soooo....
How do they expect gun registration/ballistic fingerprinting to work to stop criminals? Yep, the sheriff has to go after all those armed ornery criminals to get them to register their shootin' iron. Man, those bad criminals must be shakin in their booties.

Death to Tyrants!!!
Those who would offer any interpretation that would relegate Amendment II to "relic" status of a bygone era are blatantly stating that the remainder of the Bill of Rights isn't worth a damn, either.
